About the Heritage Nation Foundation
The Heritage Nation Foundation is rooted in the divine teachings of Master Fard Muhammad (founder of the Nation of Islam) and the enduring leadership of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Beginning in Detroit’s historical Black Bottom community and the Paradise Valley business district in the 1930s, their vision and work sparked the rise of dignified human beings who began to build, mosques, schools and businesses across North America. We honor the pioneers whose courage, sacrifice, and steadfast service laid the foundation for our spiritual, educational, and cultural work today. Their legacy continues to guide our mission of unity, empowerment, and upliftment for all communities.
